Dr Moneli Golara

Dr. Golara is a general Obstetrican and Gynaecologist, currently working as an NHS consultant at Barnet Hospital in North London where she is the Lead on Delivery suite. She also has a private practice in the Barnet area.

Her main interests are in high-risk Obstetrics and managing medical disorders in pregnancy.  She has extensive experience in treating gynaecological conditions and those requiring minimal access (keyhole) or general surgery, as well as early pregnancy complications.

Having qualified from University College Hospital in 1991, she continued to train in the speciality across London. She has worked in hospitals such as Chelsea and Westminster, Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s and St. Mary’s in Paddington.  Dr. Golara has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 1997, and spent two years of her training (2000-2002) in medical research.   Her training has been concentrated on managing pregnancies complicated by medical disorders. She has also achieved extensive skills in Ultrasound Scanning by gaining the RCOG/RCR Diploma of Ultrasound in 2006, and is also a member of the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society.

Whilst not at work, she is kept busy by her husband and two young children and lives in North London.
