Dr Saima Khan joined us one year ago having come from Pakistan where she qualified as a Doctor. She is on an orientation attachment in our clinic before she proceeds with her postgraduate training. She has previously trained in ultrasound scanning. She has complemented the practical side of her training by just having had a baby. Languages: English |

Tahira Manzoor
MBBS, ARDMS in Ultrasound

Tahira gained her bachelors degree in Medicine 1988 from Lahore in Pakistan. She went on to train in Ultrasound whilst living in Singapore. She continued her training in the USA where she gained her registration OBS and GYNAE in 1997. In 1998 she did her RCOG/RCR Diploma in advanced Obstetric Ultrasound from the Royal College and in 2002 did her Nuchal training and passed the exam to gain the diploma from Kings College London. Tahira lives in central London with her husband and three children. Languages: English |

Nayna Patel
DCR, DMU, MSC

Nayna trained as a Radiographer at Hammersmith Hospital and qualified in 1980. Her interest in ultrasound led her to undertake further training at Queen Charlotte and Hammersmith hospitals and she gained a diploma in medical ultrasound in 1990. She has been working as a sonographer since then and has vast experience in gynaecological, obstetric and general ultrasound. She gained a masters degree in ultrasound from City University in 1997 and has been involved in a number of research studies involving novel techniques in the use of ultrasound contrast agents in chronic liver disease, ovarian and breast cancer.
