“My aim is to help couples to have as supported a conception as possible and to be able to support pregnancy and birth in as natural and appropriate a way as possible. I will always endeavour to offer support that brings men and women a truly integrated approach. I began my studies in Chinese medicine with an agenda to treat in pregnancy, as this aspect of health care has always been of the upmost importance to me. I feel that the Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment offers a valuable extension to the understanding that the Western care and diagnosis brings, and further enhances the ability to support the individual to the greatest strengths of their particular needs. I believe that obstetric acupuncture is a fantastic adjunct to the current maternity services and that the treatment support we bring enhances well-being on all levels, physical and emotional, and brings great strength to the healthy development of the baby.”
