Preparing for labour with Osteopathy
Loosening the pelvis and releasing tensions from the lower back and abdomen will help you relax and experience a more comfortable labour and birth.
Osteopathy for the newborn and children
Retained moulding of the cranial or upper neck compression may occur during labour. Some babies cope extremely well with this. Others can display a variety of problems that osteopathy can help resolve with.
Following is a non-exhaustive list of the most common symptoms that the babies present to us with:

Renzo Molinari
Renzo Molinari has developed expertise in Osteopathy during pregnancy, labour, and post-partum over the last 25 years. He led the College Osteopathique Francais then became principal of the European School of Osteopathy, where he developed teaching Osteopathic clinic in Obstetrics. He developed and taught master Units in Obstetrics and Uro-Gynaecology. He is recognised internationally as one of the main specialists in his field. He joined the multi-disciplinary team of The Birth Company two years ago.

Boniface Verney-Carron
Boniface Verney-Carron is a French osteopath who trained at the European School of Osteopathy and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council. He begun practising at The Birth Company in 2007.
Boniface specialises in paediatric, pregnancy and post-natal care. He uses cranio-sacral therapy, mobilisation and dry needling to rebalance and release the tensions causing potential discomforts to the future mothers and the newborn infants.
