Pregnancy care

Thank you for taking the time to consider The Birth Company for your pregnancy care. Our packages are designed to provide complete care to the highest standard, in professional yet comfortable and relaxed surroundings.

We offer two main options of care: the Integrated package and the Consultant package. You can start your pregnancy care with us at any stage of your pregnancy. Please note that we also offer antenatal care for women who plan to have their baby delivered in other hospitals, including hospitals abroad.

The Consultant package includes:

Initial consultation
4 routine antenatal scans
11 routine antenatal appointments with either Dr Gibb or Dr Roberts
1 routine antenatal booking appointment with the midwife
Routine antenatal blood tests
Voucher for a complementary therapy session
Antenatal couples class
Dr Gibb’s or Dr Roberts’ delivery fee
24-hour telephone and mobile support
6-week postnatal follow-up

The Integrated package includes:

Initial consultation

8 routine antenatal appointments with either Dr Gibb or Dr Roberts
4 routine antenatal appointments with the midwife
Routine antenatal blood tests
Voucher for a complementary therapy session
Antenatal couples class
Dr Gibb’s or Dr Roberts’ delivery fee
24-hour telephone and mobile support
6-week postnatal follow-up

We offer the following Special packages:

Caesarean section only
Antenatal care (scans and consultations)

Dr Gibb is a full-time private obstetrician. He does not have commitments in another hospital. Dr Roberts also works at the Homerton Hospital but makes herself available for her own clients and to cover Dr Gibb during his rare absences or holidays. Dr Gibb also covers for absences of Dr Roberts.

All antenatal appointments with Dr Gibb or Dr Roberts, or with the midwife, are held at The Birth Company. Mothers give birth at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, which is in Geat Portland Street, London, a short distance from The Birth Company.
