Gaylin Tudhope has worked as psychotherapist in the UK since 1991. She trained in psychology in South Africa and gained her MSc in Life Course Development in the UK. She has taught at both Brunel University and the University of Brighton as well as running a private practice. She has a Diploma in Autogenic Therapy and runs workshops for individuals as well as consulting for large organisations. At present she specialises in anxiety and trauma. Gaylin runs workshops for new parents as well as helping couples regain their intimacy after having a new baby.

She continues to develop her skills and has introduced a unique drug and alcohol rehabilitation programme to the UK, as well as a programme designed to help adolescents through their life developmental stages and into adulthood. Gaylin has recently written a book on alcohol awareness. With her corporate hat on, she is leading the way with the most up-to-date work-based learning seminars including leadership programmes for various NHS employees.

Autogenic training (AT) during pregnancy is a relaxation therapy based on six simple mental exercises for natural self-regulation of mind and body. AT has been researched and used for many years in the treatment of primary infertility during pregnancy and childbirth. AT has been noted by leading obstetricians as helping significantly in facilitating, economising and accelerating the physiological processes of natural delivery.

Psychotherapy and autogenic therapy are particularly useful to help with the following:
